Sub-processors

Tombstack is operated by AnkleBreaker Consulting (SAS, RCS Versailles 912 705 860) as a data processor on each studio's behalf. The third parties below process customer or player data on our behalf. Last updated 2026-07-25.

Always used
Amazon Web Services (AWS)
Purpose:
All hosting: compute, the accounts/billing database, the telemetry store, and blob storage for minidumps, screenshots, player logs and symbols.
Data received:
Everything the platform stores — crash reports, session heartbeats, analytics events, bug reports and their attachments, plus studio account records.
Location:
eu-west-3 (Paris, France)
Stripe
Purpose:
Payment processing, subscriptions and invoicing.
Data received:
Studio billing contact (email), subscription and usage-quantity records, and payment-method details held by Stripe. Tombstack never stores card numbers.
Location:
EU/US (Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd.)
Transfer safeguard:
Stripe's own SCCs / DPF certification
Used only when you enable the feature
Anthropic
Purpose:
Powers the optional in-dashboard AI triage assistant and the crash-analysis features that call a model.
Data received:
Only the crash context needed to answer the question asked: stack traces, breadcrumb log lines, tag/facet distributions, and any identifier already attached to that crash (userId and/or Steam id). Sent when a studio member uses the assistant — never as part of ingestion, and never on a schedule.
Location:
United States
Transfer safeguard:
Standard Contractual Clauses

What “EU data residency” means precisely

Your telemetry is stored and processed in eu-west-3 (Paris) and is not replicated outside the EU. The one exception is the optional AI assistant: when a studio member asks it a question, the crash context for that question is sent to Anthropic in the United States under Standard Contractual Clauses. If your organisation cannot accept that transfer, do not use the assistant — ingestion, the dashboard, alerting and the API are entirely unaffected by it, and we will disable the feature for your studio on request.
